My prediction: Mrs. White will kill Walter. It is all heading downhill. You can see it. She hates him. And Walter is losing it himself. He kills a grandfather who is looking to get out of the business. He is a douche to his wife. It is all happening. I actually had a thought too that Todd wastes Walter, but he seems keen and wants to stick with the business.

I said it here! Walter will be killed by his wife. Gus died by the sword, and so will Walter. It may actually come to a head when his brother in law confronts him, Walter pulls a gun on him, and then the wife kills him.

I think the opening sequence of the first episode of this season is indicative of Skyler not being around later. Walt doesn't have his ring or the watch Jesse gave him. I'm guessing both are dead by that time. The references to Heat and Scarface this season leads me to believe Walt isn't getting a quiet death. I bet skyler dies before Walt, perhaps via suicide.

Anyway, I reccomend you guys rewatch the entire series from the beginning. It's really interesting to watch the first few episodes knowing how Walt's going to change. All the signs and cues were there from the beginning. The look of disdain at the plaque for his work at Gray Matter, his refusal to get treatment or even tell anybody about his cancer, etc. They really thought out Walt's character development.

SPOILER ALERT

For those of you who have watched the first 4 seasons, this should give you goosebumps. An amazingly well done fan tribute.

I'm fine with that conclusion as long as it's epic, cathartic and not some Meadowpark BS.

Wow what an ending to keep us waiting until next year. Thankfully Boardwalk Empire is starting soon.

The hits on the 10 guys in prison were brutal. Getting shanked with a toothbrush 50 times? Yikes.

Anyone wanna take guesses at the meaning of the beetle and the fly this episode?

I have a lot of catching up to do. Torrent-damage, here I come. Can't wait. Wish this show was on Hulu-plus so I could watch it on the big screen. Missed the whole season this year. Crying or Very sad

(To the above poster) I just download each episode, upload it onto a USB memory chip and plug it into my bigscreen TV. Easy! (and great to watch).

My prediction for the ending of the series: Hank will confront Walt with all the evidence he has but will collapse and die before he can inform anybody else (remember him staggering around in pain clutching his chest in earlier episodes?). Jesse will go his own way and disappear. Walt's wife will meet her death somehow (she simply knows too much, so she has to go. How, I'm not sure). Walt wont die. The creator of the series has indicated he's interested in a BB movie after the series finishes.

No way Hank goes out like that. Hank had anxiety issues with killing and seeing people get blown up. It was never a health problem and it seems he has mostly gotten over it now.

I predict Hank might crank down on Walt and his operation. Not arrest him as he has no evidence, but snoop around and look for clues. The Pheonix crew will smell DEA involvement and realize Hank is Walt's brother in law and try to put a hit on Walt and his guys including Jesse. The ensuing bloodbath will leave Walt with nothing so gets the M60 to take those guys out.

That or Walt is going postal at Gray Matter with the gun.

Walt will go through turmoil and very tense life or death moments. Then just when everything gets resolved and it appears he is in the clear, he will die of cancer.

Remember, the whole SERIES has taken place over a single year, and seasons 4 and 5 seem to have taken place over about a month or so, if that. Combine that with the handwriting being the same as the notebook, and the same poetic tone in the note - it seemed just about right to me.

Walt Jr and Jesse become lovers as do Skyler and Hank. A despondent Marie commits suicide and at her funeral, Walt Jr confronts Hank about his affair with his mother and when he pulls a gun on him, Jesse tries to take it away and in the ensuing melee the gun goes off and kills Walt and the bullet also goes through Skyler who is holding the baby who has just been diagnosed with a rare terminal disease attributable to exposure to crystal meth.

In the epilog, Saul reveals that he never intended to become involved at the level he was but was forced to because he was being blackmailed by Skyler because he was really the baby's father. But he makes up for it by building clinics in New Mexico that conduct research into cancer and MS. One of the patients is Uncle Hector who survived the bomb blast that turned Gus into a skeleton but got colon cancer when the bomb blew out his azzhole.

Karma's a bitch.

Thank you for sharing this. Started watching Boardwalk Empire the other week and have enjoyed it thoroughly. Love the Tin Woodsman.

Breaking Bad has ruined TV for me. BE somewhat fills the void.
