As predicted all the haters are back. Thanks for proving my point.

I am disappointed about the Canucks loss obviously. And yes... losing 22goals to 8... is pretty bad...

But I am not embarrassed about the Canucks. They had an amazing season and a great cup run this year.

I am embarrassed about the riot... Pretty pathetic.

As a Flames fan you have nothing to look forward to next season. The problem is that one of the best players on the Flames was a player that couldn't even make the Canucks team in tryouts.

Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house. The Canucks accomplished three things that Calgary didn't this year. They made the playoffs, they won the Presidents Trophy and they went to the Stanley Cup Final.

Additionally... The season series between Calgary and Vancouver was very lop sided. I think 1-0-5 was the final tally?

as a flames fan you also get to drive around town in your pickup truck wearing redneck clothes.

as a flames fan you get to freeze your ass off half the year except the occasional chinook.

as a flames fan you get to see your team make make short term choices that don't work long term.

as aflames fan you get to be envious of just about everything about vancouver... other than those few idiots the other night.

Attack as much as you want, but your Canucks still can't brag about a Stanley Cup.

Will it be another 17 years before the Canucks make the finals?

Whooo, all Calgary fans already know this, we know to expect another lackluster season.

No big surprise. Boston had the highest average confidence level of all of us on this thread, with a confidence no lower than 10, many 13s and Redcap and I giving them a 15 pre-playoffs. If we had pooled all of our opinions and averaged them out then Boston would have been our prediction all along. The Bruins were built for the playoffs. And it showed.

Oh, get real.

I read about someone who went to the riot and an actual hockey game broke out.

Laughing And yet I'm one of only two of us who was most confident before the playoffs began that the Boston Bruins was going to represent the east in the finals and only thought one team more likely to win than them. The Vancouver Canucks Cinderella run I wasn't at all confident in. That's a big difference in the points right there. It and the Lightning were the biggest surprises of these playoffs imo. The Sedins playing soft and awol half the time was predicted; but the ability of the rest of the squad to drag them through series was admirable. Kesler and Bieksa were fantastic! It was a fun run.

+1
I won something on Dave's! Very Happy

What a playoff run we were treated to!
Each round had it's great series, capped by an awesome finals.
Would rather have seen Vancouver win, but Boston was just better.

Already looking forward to next year.
