Yeah, Lebron had a game to forget. Being the eternal optimist, I'll just say, hey it is only game #1. Anything could still happen...

The thing is, with all those championships, when it comes around to Hall-of-Fame nomination time, some people are actually going to think that he's worthy of a spot based on the number of championships alone...

He's not a HOF player, but he does complement big stars.

Kobe and LeBron both, have you ever actually seen these guys have an amazing game? When I was a youngster, I would watch the TV and MJ or Majic would play a game and just light it up every time.
If i watch a Cavs or Lakers game..... nothing. These guys put up big numbers in nongames.
81 against a bunch a scrubs?
Kobe? he's home right now.
unless LeBron does some magic here, he's also a scrub.
C'mon, their biggest competion was the Nets

As an MVP baller, i'd wipe the court with both them fools.
seriously, as an opponent, i would not be threatend to play against either.

yeah i'd agree there but you got to admit Duncan could play with both of them. his footwork and his d are incredible.

btw anybody think pop is the most underrated coach ever along with jerry sloan? his playoff winning % is second to phil's

I think Pop, like Phil Jackson are both over-rated schlubs who inherited superstars at the right time..

Give Pop that team sans Duncan and what would he have won? Nothing, that's what.

But like Jackson he'll get his accolades because of it...

Barring a miracle, this series is over. What other teams from the West do you think could have beat the Cavs in this series?

In a 7 game series I say, Dallas, Phoenix, Utah, Houston, Denver, Los Angeles, and Golden State. That would be all the teams from the West who made the playoffs.

After LeBron's one great game of the playoffs against the Pistons, he was crowned the next heir to Jordan. Prior to that game he played very good. After that game he has played, well, good. Can we stop all the silly comparisons now?

I know he is young, but do you really see the next Jordan in his game? He has no jumper and his defense is next to non-existence. He is a great talent, but I don't think he will ever be on the same level as Jordan, or Kobe. Like I have said all along, maybe his style is like Magic's, but until he has some diamonds set in platinum around his finger saying NBA champ, let's stop all the comparisons.

Yeah this is a SA dynasty, nothing fancy just gritty working man hoops

Lebron is going to be one of the best, but he's not as good as Dr.J, Magic or Jordan yet.
