Make me an offer! Just make sure it's over 3.5, which is what the dealers are offering. Smile

Hi, I'm in search of an economy car and wouldn't mind having a look at yours. Is it an automatic and where are you located?

*Update*

2001 Daewoo Matiz II.

Immaculate.
Two new front tires.
Low mileage (55,000 and some change).
Regular oil changes.
Never been in a wreck.
Leather (pleather?) seats.

Fill it up for about W50,000 to go more than 400km (highway). Believe it or not, a very comfortable ride if you're not too tall (over six feet).

W3.5mil drives it home.

Located in Seoul.

Interested parties PM for email and phone number.

You really should just have a Korean friend help you sell it on www.encar.co.kr

It'll move fast on there if it's priced right.

The typical user of this board is looking for something around 500,000 that will last them a year before they pass it off to the next teacher.

It must not be that brilliant of an offer if your original post is from September. I agree with Bassexpander that you're advertising in the wrong market.....there are just too many great cars available in Korea for under 1,000,000. Not to mention that for 2 mil you can really get a nice ride.

If you know of a person or place that sells "great" cars for 2mil., why not share with us?

I own two cars, and I've searched every website and been to many used car dealerships, and I've never found even a decent car for less than say, 4 mil. Certainly not one with low mileage and no accidents.

I'm not trying to highjack your thread. I looks really good and seems to be in excellent physical condition. You have made good points about the car you are selling, but I have to agree with Bass. Average posters on a foreigner ESL site looking to buy a car most likely don't have the resources or desire to spend that kind of $$ on a car no matter the condition.

I have been quite pleased with my car that I spent quite a bit less for. Sure it has higher mileage and costs twice as much to fill the tank, but it is in good condition, looks good, has a great sound system, came with a GPS, and is tuned (it is fun and fast).

Something just doesn't add up here. You've been advertising this car for like 6 months and dealers have offered you 3.5? Why don't you just sell it to them?

Good question. We did in fact talk to that dealer, but he ended up trying to lowball us to the nth degree, which is of course, standard operating procedure for dealers. They hook you with promises of a good deal, then...

Again, if you look on any of the used car websites (encar, jamycar, et al) you will see that we have priced this car accordingly.

Well, no offense, but if this car was priced properly it wouldn't be still for sale after more than 6 months and more than 2000 hits on this website alone.
