From my metrosexual POV, I find gels and some waxs very greasy and would not be good for the forehead, if you were to use it.

I'm receding a little bit but having it scruffy on top and a bit of 'mud' seems to keep it in it's shape and isn't too greasy. And it can be pushed forward a bit so as not too look like I'm receding.

What do you mean by 'mud'?

It's just another fancy name for something that's not gel, or wax. But is kinda gloopy and grey looking. A bit like mud, it's not too shiny and it doesn't dry hard so it's like a 'mild holder'. Bad phrase that.

Interesting...that could be the kind of thing I'm looking for. Any ideas where I can get some?

erm, that could be tricky where I am. I see that you're in Daegu, butlerian, so you've got way more chance. Any decent looking hairdressers might have it. Supermarkets probably not. I paid 20 000 for mine from my hairdresser, bit on the dear side. But it's very good.

What's the brand name? Excuse my ignorance, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for. Confused

Yeh.. hair gum or clay (I'm guessing thats what the mud is) are pretty good, I don't like my hair to look wet/greasy so the matt effect of the gum/clay is what I like..But i go for a messy look..

Maybe gels are better for a more I dunno, erm formal look?

I think this is definitely what I'm looking for. I don't like a wet/greasy look either. Just need to work out what it is exactly and where to get it.

It's called Attrait. the majority of hair products are in english: wax, fudge, clay, mud, gel etc are all in englishee so it's best to try and see which is best and the one you like best. cheaper, from experience, is not good.

A comment by Kermo on the "How hawt are you" thread got me thinking. I haven't really changed my hairstyle since I was in primary school. Now that I'm in my mid-20s, I think it's about time I altered it. My hair is quite fine and has receeded slightly at the front, but not much. See below:

Can anyone make any recommendations for me? I'd really appreciate it. Perhaps using some kind of gel or spray or something to add volume and update the style?

Spend a night in Shunk Hell in Hongdea and you might get some good idea's
