Yo Blase ... you dig Ron Paul?

IF you're in the least worried about any Gestapo legislation singing "No, no ... no!", simply lay all your free cash for justice moolah on a couple groovy AmeriKan friends Idea

Spread it out equally Wink

He actually seems ok *shrugs*

Not too clear on where he stands on any policies. Who knows, maybe he'll more progressively change his tune & manage to more clearly stand out from the pack over the next few months?

Edwards or Obama? Who d'ya reckon Hill-dawg would chose for a VP running-mate?

He DID take his little AmeriKan lapel pin off last week. Very interesting gesture. Claimed he had his reasons. Something to do with political phonies who wear them, when really their true (faux-hidden) loyalties are more in line with a treasonist global agenda, elitist contituents etc.

Either way, he's a sharp cookie, w/ maybe even a hint of integrity? Shocked

Still not convinced? The Revolution will be televised, on youtube:

When I hear this guy talk, it makes me realize why Americans are so proud of their country. Maybe Paul can give a lot of Americans a chance to be proud again.

blaseblasphemener, that is a good video.

I honestly think if Americans listen to his views they will like him. His view on "group thinking" perpetuating racism is really enlightening.

Ron Paul is so right for America right now.

That's funny, the part about group thinking stood out to me too. I haven't thought of it like he put it. I think when you look at the victim-mentality of many minorities, alot of people just don't believe govt measures have worked. They certainly have been detrimental in Canada, where natives will be forever playing the victim card, generations to come.

61,000 Baghdad residents executed by Saddam: survey
December 10, 2003

Saddam Hussein's government may have executed 61,000 Baghdad residents, a figure much higher than previously believed, a new study suggests.

The bloodiest massacres of Saddam's 23-year presidency occurred in Iraq's Kurdish north and Shi'ite Muslim south, but the Gallup Baghdad Survey data indicates the brutality also extended into the capital.

The survey asked 1178 Baghdad residents in August and September whether a member of their household had been executed by Saddam's regime, with 6.6 per cent saying yes.

The polling firm took metropolitan Baghdad's population of 6.39 million people, and average household size of 6.9 people, to calculate that 61,000 people were executed during Saddam's rule.

Past estimates were in the low tens of thousands. Most are believed to have been buried in mass graves.

The US-led occupation authority in Iraq has said at least 300,000 people were buried in mass graves in Iraq.

Human rights officials put the number closer to 500,000, and some Iraqi political parties estimate more than 1 million people were executed.

This doesn't include Saddams war with Iran or his invasion of Kuwait or anything . Remember Saddam would have done far worse if he got free. And his sons were coming up next.

By my count, ontheway has started 4 different threads on Ron Paul. Does that count as one vote or 4? You decide.

The Ronettes do deserve some credit. They seem to be very well organized at the internet/grass roots level, getting out people to the straw polls. In a way, I'm hoping RP does kind of well in the caucuses/primaries. The Republicans' strongest candidate is McCain and he can't get the nomination of his own party. If RP does well, the GOP could end up in the hands of the religious right and Libertarians...and irrelevant for the next few decades. That would be sweet, considering how badly they have screwed up the country on their watch.

We report, you decide?

The world was informed years ago that the REVOLUTION would not be televised.

No surprises here.

Truly amazing how much Ron Paul has been excluded from the media. Ive been talking with family and friends about him at home, and they have never heard of him, although they are impressed by his views. People are probably afraid of having another Texan in office, but he is far from the next Bush.
