And let me tell you, Super Mario Galaxy is really, really good.

I have heard nothing but good things about Super Mario Galaxy. That and being a big Mario fan has made me seriously want a wii. I will wait until I go back to Canada for Christmas to get it though.

50,000Won to mod it and 10,000Won a back-up at Yongsan. Just sayin'.

Seconded on the Super Mario Galaxy. My wife has absolutely ZERO appreciation for games- more of a disdain, really- and even she's playing it and saying, "Wow, this is really well-done. The Japanese are amazing!" (She's not a big fan of the Japanese, either, so for her to say this is a real credit to SMG, haha. Awesome game, and I haven't been into the Mario Franchise since SMB3.)

Anyways, in order of what I play most:
1) Un-modded Xbox 360 with most of the must-have games and a handfull of crap ones.
2) Modded Japanese Wii with mostly crappy games. I busted out Sports for a while, but it was gathering dust for a few months. Super Mario Galaxy has changed that, as will Kart and Smash Bros, I hope.
3) Modded PS2 that was a workhorse for three years until I got my 360. Since finishing Resident Evil 4 I haven't touched it. Onto the next-gens.

I'd love to get a PS3, but I don't have enough time to play as it is, and most the games I really want to play are on both systems or the 360 exclusively. I can live without Gran Turismo and Metal Gear (I know, that's blasphemy on the MG comment.)

Time to go play some SMG!

It's a damn shame about the PS3 really. Pound for pound it is the more advanced system. Blu-ray player, wireless out of the box, full HD( of course Xbox has been for awhile too). To actually get the Xbox 360 to the level of the standard PS3 costs an extra 300 bucks..I know...I've done it. 100 for the wireless networking adapter and about 180 for the HD DVD player. But damn you to hell PS3 for not having the games that the 360 has. Of course that will change soon when MSG4 and FF13 come out as exclusives. As for the Wii...its more of a novelty than a true gaming system. Granted the control scheme is fun and I love a few of the games I have for it....it just doesn't stack up against the other 2. Online play is virtually nil...crappy processor....no onboard HDD (come on 512MB....nintendo..you cheap priks) and video output at a max of 480p which is pathetic.

Yeah, I have a Wii, and I just ordered Super Mario Galaxy, as never before had I heard such universally good things about a game.

I don't "Game" much nowadays...must have outgrown it or something, so my Wii had been just sitting there -- but if it actually gets the game-hating wife to play then....there may be hope Laughing

I have a DS too, but that had been regulated to plane/train trips a long time ago.
