Dogs are often named by their colour.

That's right.

This feckless hound

who is fully aware she's not allowed in the house

yet will sneak in anyway and make a beeline for my study on the top floor

is named "Coco". This fact is clear to all. Had her for 2 years now.

But that doesn't stop my ajuma from calling her

She's a talented, bilingual dog -- refuses to obey in 2 languages.

What? No one has mentioned the obvious! Give the puppy a name like 보신탕 and see how Koreans salivate when you call your doggie by his name.

Yes, Boshintang was already mentioned, and we agreed it was overused as a name, and pretty stupid haha.

Looking for something a little cuter. My mom would like it to have a cute name, not something like dog soup, or hard gay Razz

You could call it 똥개 which means mutt but literally translates to "poo dog".

Ok, people don't read the thread do they?

That's 3 times now that Boshintang has been mentioned, and now the third time that is will be dismissed.

Again, my mother has specifically requested a CUTE Korean name for it. It's going home to be a family dog, so it's not completely up to me.

We had a dog named Nani. It's a mixture of Nabi and something else. My husband explained it to me but I've forgotten what it is...

What was your dog's name?!

Geddit? No? Never mind, that was one for the Japanese speakers.
