| I never really played the arcade version. I grew up in a tiny town and didn't have access. I remember we finally got an SF2 machine at the local laundry mat years after I stopped playing the game. All I know is the Super Nintendo version. |

| oh WTF? How is Ryu better than Ken? Punch for punch, Ryu is stronger. But, Ken is faster and can connect quicker. Damn, those of you saying Ryu is better, I just want to whip up on you right now. |

| Obviously Ken was the better badass. He spent his time chasing skirt and going to the beach, Ryu spent all his time training. Yet in the game they were equal fighters. Ken all the way |

True. If you compare the two, then Ryu is the overall better fighter. However, when it comes to power and speed, they are definitely not equals.
Mentally....Ryu. |

Kick someone's ass with Dan and then we're impressed ;p
Guile was pretty rough in the original SF2, from what I know him and Dhalsim were the two best characters. |

lol, in Marvel vs. Capcom 2, I enjoy using Guile/Ken/Sentinel
But, lately, I have been using team Shotokan:
Akuma
Ken
Ryu
Played correctly, that is one nasty team! |

SFII is still around in arcades in Seoul. I played it and was disappointed because it's much easier on the SNES and it's also incredibly inferior to Tekken 5 (as one would expect). I sucked - I couldn't get passed Zangief.
When I was a kid I just blew away all opposition on the SNES with Ken.
I used Ken on the original SF2 (with just 8 fighters) and Sagat on the Champion Edition. |

Only a true novice doesn't know the 'jump up and down at the corner and kick him in the head each time he approaches routine.'
You truly deserve a
for that! |

Jeez, I'd forgotten about that. It's long-ass time since I played it, so get off my case!
Trust me - on the SNES when I was 14, I'd have crushed you.
