the documentary "Road to Guantanamo" is on dvd and available locally - i bought it at one of those 3 for 10,000 won places - it's an excellent docu about a couple of british citizens of pakistani descent who were swept up in american military actions in afghanistan and held w/o basis, tortured, etc.
can only imagine how many more stories from there will eventually emerge.
haven't heard yet but am hoping whoever the next prez will be - whatever party - they'll shut down that cesspool of human rights violations |
