There are many reasons people want to use Linux instead of Windows, one of which is that its built on Unix so it's stable. This doesn't mean they don't want access to Windows-only apps or files, and the insinuation that it does is misinformed, at best.


Am I the only one who doesn't understand this post? Stability somehow segues into not wanting to use Windows only apps, and reading that into someone using Wine is misinformed?

Anyhow. Dependencies. Command line. Compile/decompile. Enough reasons right there to not bother with *nix. Please shoot back with a Windows wannabe distro. That would make my day.
