Didn't the kids all have something like those cardboard flippy things in Canada about a decade ago? Except they were round and they were called "Pogs" and I think that they were a Pokemon thing as well. The rules were the same anyway. I remember playing with my small cousins.
My favourite so far are the little sand-filled plastic thingies that you use like Jacks. And, of course, the cockroach gum. I'm sending this stuff home to the little cousins.
The beebee guns are the bane of my existence. They stash them in their bags and start messing around with them while I'm teaching. A couple of times they've fired them off before class started, hit some girls, who was, naturally, traumatised.......twenty minutes later... |
