I guess they could. But defending Hillary Clinton on her own policy choices (who she selects as an urban-affairs advisor, for example) is one kind of craziness.

Feigning sadness while sneering at Bill Clinton's choices re: infidelity and the Monica Lewinski scandal in 2008 -- that is, an entire decade later -- is another kind of Ken Starr-like craziness.

And at the end of the day, Milwaukiedave, I will take my kind of crazy over yours.

If you hadn't noticed, I actually didn't really comment directly on the criticism of BB's post. He's free to say whatever he wants, I only related the fact that I was born there and know how dangerous the area is (I've visited there everytime I go through the Bay Area as I have relatives there). The truth is that many people have moved out of areas in California to Oregon (especially Southern Oregon).

Since you brought it up (not me), let me ask you why shouldn't both Hillary and Bill's creditablity be an issue. For as often as we've heard smack talk about Obama's past and lack of experience (according to the Clinton people NOT me), as far as I'm concerned, it's fair game.

Wasn't it Hillary that said, "This is the fun part"?

And you link this to the current mayor of Oakland and the Hillary Clinton campaign how...?

I know a little about California, too, Milwaukiedave. I also know that, whatever the issue, people foam at the mouth where the Clintons are concerned just as they foam at the mouth where W. Bush is concerned.

I imagine I just find that degree of irrationality amusing.

Just more evidence that Hillary is all about "the game" and trying to maximize the old school democratic party machine. Good luck hill-dog. I think your days are numbered as a presidential candidate.

She's a shrewd and experienced politician. Obama is not.

She knows how the sytem works, has the experience and the contacts. That counts for a huge amount. Would you appoint a newbie fresh off the plane as headteacher at your school? No. It takes an old hand.

She's also tougher than Obama I think. He's more idealistic which is nice, however real politics needs someone who can kick ass.

Its this strength that might outshine Obama at the upcoming debates- unless of course Hillary has lost to much confidence over the past week and becomes desperate.

I don't like eithers policy of withdrawal from iraq ( US troops have been in Japan, South korea, Kuwait and Germany for many years and decades- why not Iraq?)

However given a choice between the 2 I'd vote for Hillary.

...just as they foam at the mouth when Chalmers Johnson is concerned...?

You participation in this thread revolves around your allegation that I foam at the mouth re: Chalmers Johnson? I think, whereas you have admitted repeatedly that (a) you have never even read Chalmers Johnson; and that (b) you try to antagonize me where he and Ron Paul are concerned, that it is therefore clear that you do not really believe that I foam at the mouth when critiquing Johnson's positions (again, these are positions you are not even familiar with in the first place). Further, as Chalmers Johnson's books would seem to have little if anything to do with this thread, I think you are trolling.

Good luck. Sooner or later, someone might just bite...
