a) didn't have to buy it with such good people as there are here.
b) she played it for a bit but her impatience won out and she gave up trying to get one of the blocks on the button.

| i played portal for about a half hour expecting good things....but couldn't get past the 2nd level.....i felt sick like i had watched the movie tron consecutively for 3 days afterwords |

word...i just couldn't figure it out ... blasting some portal gun which just makes portals and then when you go through the portal you come back into the room you were just in....and there is a woman you can see but if you try to follow her just get really dizzy and puke |

Hehe...the woman is actually your character. I think that knowing that will help you enormously. It gets intense when you have to build momentum for making lateral jumps or to climb platforms, but that doesn't happen until the later levels. If you are getting sick on level one or two, you may want to consult a physician.

Just for kicks place a port in the roof directly over where you stand then shoot your feet and you will fall over and over and over and over and over and over through those same two portals until you manage to shoot a new exit point.
it's fun. |

I like blasting the cameras off of the wall, pushing them into the corner, and then making a portal right behind the camera on the wall and one on the floor beneath it.
Insanity.
Running into it yourself is also mildly entertaining as the game keeps trying to figure out which way is up:p |
