Of course this is legal (except with tourist visas), the company is used to administrative troubles.
Anyways, I didnt know by sending this message that it could be wrong. If it is, I am very sorry and you can of course delete it. |
it's legal if you get your E2 visa stamped and get all the appropriate paperwork, including permission from your current employer. if you're saying that it's legal to participate in a movie (whether you're paid or not) then you're ignorant of the legalities or a liar.
even volunteer work is technically illegal, without having approval and an extra visa stamp, and foreigners have been busted for it on numerous occasions.
even if 99.9% of people are reasonable, it only takes one angry xenophobe to call immigration ... then you're in a world of crap. |

While a hunchback with leprosy is probably more attractive than I am, it has no bearing on my feelings about acting. I'm not interested in it in any form. I prefer to stay out of the public eye and honestly the public probably prefers it that way. |

I hear it is not only illegal in terms of violation of the E2 visa, it is also in violation of hiring practice regulations with the actors union of Korea.
I hear that screen actors either have to have the entertainment visa or the family visa to be legal. However, I'm sure it's often overlooked.

Perhaps it is advertising, but in a way, it's also a public service announcement, as many people would view working in entertainment as an opportunity |

Dave has a cash cow here--he's not missing the won. Facebook takes this kind of advertising for free. |
