The computer system sells as one piece only. I just built this computer yesterday and spent about 6 hours tweaking it out, so um not about to start tearing it apart. If i doesnt sell then i'll use it as my gaming machine.
Must say, its one of my best builds so far. Its running as good as my Quad Core 6600 system.. lol. .. I actually hate to part with it. |
Your old pig (Pentium D (830, not even a 930)) runs as good as a q6600? Liar, liar, pants on fire.
You're claiming that a 3 year old CPU can somehow keep up?
On May 26, 2005, Intel launched the mainstream Pentium D branded processor lineup with initial clock speeds of 2.8, 3.0, and 3.2 GHz with model numbers of 820, 830, and 840 respectively.
It is a power hog, runs hot, needs extra (noisy) cooling and is the least efficient of the dual cores.
Computers with Pentium D-830 CPUs sell for about 100k won at son-in plaza these days. The video card is worth more than the computer.

| As advertised this is a fine machine, state of the art close to the razors edge. There are probably a few techies out there sportin' wood over this thing and crying cause they lack the funds to buy it or build one of their own. |
You should burn in hades for telling lies like this about 3 year old technology, especially since a current model, entry level core2duo machine can be bought for 200k won.

Sorry I thought he was talkin' about this processor.
I also misread the Graphics card.
Looks like $80, Graphics, $50 Mobo, $80 CPU, etc.
Nice case though. |

| Has your monitor got an HDCP chip/processor capabilties? In other words if I was to use a HDMI to DVI cable would it know what to do with the signal or not. |

I'm a bit confused over this then
Your monitor is only capable of 726p yet it's new 32 in monitor. Has no DVI input. WXGA(1366 x 768 pixels) resolution (16:9)
If it has no DVI in there is no chance it has HDCP since that is the processor built into a monitor or TV that is used to convert the information that is coming in so that your TV can produce it's HD image.
The image being displayed on your monitor isn't a true digital HD image rather HD being put out over an old analogue signal.
Also it only does 16:9 which means that if you are using it for a console such as an xbox 360 you will have black lines across the top and bottom because it puts out it's HD image at 16:10 which is requires 1,920x1,080 to produce that.
---
Something isn't right about this setup mate. You claim it's all new etc yet why would you purchase a 32in Monitor that isn't up to date.
http://pc.danawa.com/price.html?defSite=DISPLAY&cate1=861&cate2=883
The link above shows latest 30in+ monitors on Danawa. All of them can show and image at true 1080p. All had at least one DVI input (some have no analoge VGA since it can't really be used at those resolutions)
Most of them are capable of decoding a HD signal because they have an HDCP chip inside.
How much was your moniitor new and when did you buy it? |

You brought up some good points about the monitor. In my initial post i stated that i bought the monitor about 6 months ago.. I bought it used.. paid about 300,000 won for it and then i spent an additional 30,000 won for a black frame and stand. It costed me 330,000 all in. I am not sure what it costed new.
HD capabilities? It can display an HD image no problem. I own a 46' Samsung Pavv 720p HD model. And i compared both when playing in 720p HD.. I couldnt notice any difference. I'd be happy to show you, if you'd like to see for yourself.
You also mentioned connecting an xbox 360 to it. It does not have the HDCP chip in it (after checking). You will need an addon device (transcoder)) for the xbox 360 or any other gaming machine that makes use of its HD capabilities.
Not to worry.. I will add this unit into the package :
The X2VGA 2 High Definition VGA Transcoder by Neoya is designed to work with any gaming console or video device that has a standard component video output, such as the Playstation 3, Playstation 2, Wii, GameCube, Xbox 360, and Xbox, etc. With the X2VGA 2TM and a standard VGA monitor.
http://www.x2vga.com/
I paid 125.00 US ,after shipping and duty for this neat little gadget last year,. Anyway.. i'll throw it in for free.
Now that should take care of the HD issues.
NEXT
I want to sell this computer system by the end of this weekend. And so i've decided to also throw in a 200 gig external hard drive for free.
So now this system is up to 700 gigs of HD space.. if you dont want the drive in the external casing i can install it into the computer.. your choice.
I've had a number of offers so far, but thought I would throw in these two items as i really dont need them. I've got 5 terabytes in my server.. And 200 gigs wont make any difference at this point in it.. so good luck to the bidders.
Cheers..
B.T.W
If anyone has any questions about this computer, I encourage you to contact me at
010-6251-7150. Its much better to ring me about technical data than to post it here. |

So it's actually a flat panel that you have added a screen to.
I don't really have time to read through the whole of the technical specifiations of the display.
Do you happen to know the response time, dot pitch and contrast ratio of the display? |

You asked about the lcd's response time because you want to know how quickly a pixel can change colors, measured in milliseconds. The answer to that question is 9
Contrast ratio, which is calculated based on the difference in light intensity between the brightest white and the deepest black. That i cant answer as there are different numbers and i am not sure which one is correct..
I'd suggest you find some time and check that out... i've given you the link.. not much more i cant do.
I feel i've given as much detailed information about this system as i possibley can.. hell, i cant remember an advertised post with so much info. In fact, i think i've over advertised ..
Anyway.. as of tomorrow i am pulling this ad. I've just had a couple more offers come in. I'll contact the the winning bidder friday.

Why woud you build a second system that is inferior to what you already have, and you WANT to get rid of it less than a week later? I'd take one of those "solid offers" that you have gotten and stop defending myself on this board. |

Yeah, my mail box was full. Sorry about that.
Lately, I've had quite a few offers from those who decided to actually come and look at the system b4 comitting. (as i suggested)
Anyway, 950 is the final price. And those ppl who want to buy it cant come until later this weekend
I didn't want to hold it for anyone, so in all fairness whoever comes first gets it.
Cheers. |
