Since you haven't asked about my commuting history in the ROK nor why I finally broke down and bought a car, I won't bother to tell you anything, except that my legs were too long for a SM3.

Not laughing at all, man. If I changed from motorbike to a four-wheeled vehicle THAT is the vehicle I'd get. Can stretch out a sleeping bag and camp in the back. Can haul stuff around no problem. Easy to park, easy on gas. Fantastic, practical vehicle.

My friends call them half-a-loaf because they look like little loaves of bread.

Last week, I saw a woman, who was obviously selling yogurt and milk, tooling around on a medium-sized ATV. I live in a rural city, so she must have to cover a lot of ground. It was pretty cool. I'll try to get a picture of her with my cellphone and download it so I can post it here. It was a great pic.

Very laudable if you're young and single....... But it's a much different matter if you're starting a family.

yeah try getting to the supermarket with two kids (6 & 2) with a stroller, and bringing enough food home without your own car. Good luck doing that and remaining sane.

A car is a must if you have kids - how much one uses it is entirely different. My car only gets used for Homeplus/COSTCO runs and going to church.
