The lesson here is simple: if your child has a "syndrome" or any other learning disability, such as ADD, get him or her to a special class. Normal classes are for normal kids--i.e., kids that fall "within norms," which are already wide enough. Why do any disservice to your own kids, let alone the children of others, if your little one is learning-impaired?
