What does a father's obligation to his children have to do with religion?

ya-ta- i'm with you here normally, but Bill's a rock star and living life accordingly - doesn't mean he abuses or diddles his boys (we don't even konw if he was an asshole to his kids).

fuck his wife - she's trying to gouge him for everything she can and ruin his name. typical vindictive female shit.

strategy - that's all this is. She wants money and she's going for the throat. Regardless of the good times.

When will we get to hear Bill's side of the story?

Could you point me to the articles saying Meryl Streep acts this way?

In my book, periodic abandonment is abuse.

End of the day I couldn't care less about his personal life. I like what he does on the screen.

We've come to a parting of the ways, mm2. I think he sucks as an actor and seems to suck as a father. I've never believed a word he said on the screen and tend to believe what his wife says about him off-screen.

You need to stop watching Oprah so much.

Also technically, if the mom is a stay at home mom, plus you have nanny's, the children are not abandoned if the dad jets off for shitts and giggles somewhere.

Yeah, Oprah... now there's a fountain of answers from a single woman who has never married.

Gee, I wonder why?

Follow Oprah's advice, and you'll stay single. Married women will become single.

Hopefully she isn't talking about physical abuse.

Are you guys seriously saying that because he has a particular profession he has the right to do as he wants?

That's unbelieveable.

As a rich son of a bitch, his wife doesn't have to work and they can afford nannies. He also has a job that takes him away from home alot. That's life. Not abandonment. If he jets off once in a while for shitts and giggles, and there are people to take care of his kids, then I don't see where "abandonment" has any part in the discussion. No Family services officer would ever take the kids away from him on those grounds.

She married a movie star. WTF do women expect these days when they marry someone who has money, popularity, and/or power? Fidelity? Ha.

And what do such husbands expect? NOT to be taken to the cleaners every time? Simple action-reaction, what's to ponder?

... due to defendant's adultery, addiction to marijuana and alcohol, abusive behavior, physical abuse, sexual addiction [and] frequent abandonment," reads a complaint written by Butler-Murray's lawyer, Robert Rosen.

If dat be true... yo dawg, he lucky I dont go pop a cap in his honkey azz.
