What? That doesn't make sense...
Permanent and effective are TWO different things.
If it only removes 85% of the hair, that's one thing. But if it only removes it temporarily that's non-permanent. So what the hell are you talking about? |

woohoo, burn it off burn it off!
My next contract I am so thinking about laser removal... either that or adding... logistically speaking, I should probably look at adding hair to the top first. I can always shave or wax... much cheaper.
any good places that add hair? |

| If the hair is removed - like say in the armpit - will sweating/smell decrease? |

I read somewhere that each session only gets rid of that growing cycle of hair. So it did get rid of those hairs permanentally, but not ones growing on another cycle.
There are also some skin types that can't use certain lasers, and that also has do with how much hair grows back because some lasers are better, but can only be used on lighter skin. If your skin is olive to darker brown you have to make sure the person treating you knows what they are doing. |

I haven't been on this site for ages but I seems to be the same topics coming up again...I brought this topic up last year.
I had laser hair removal done at the clinic mentioned and I was happy with the Doctor. I didn't manage to complete all the hair cycles while I was in Korea but I'm finally getting off my ass and getting in done in my home country and I think I have about 1 or 2 to go.
Yes, it is expensive, but so are other hair removal treatments, that are not permanent. So I just looked at it as paying for 6 months worth of waxes in one go. That made me feel a lot better. |

Did you happen to get your underarms done? I've wanted to get that done, but I'm always told different things about the number of treatments needed. |

No, I got my bikini line done.
I think underarms would be about the same price if not cheaper. I think it would have the same effectiveness. If you have lighter skin and darker hair then it's ideal but I have tan skin and lighter hair but it still worked okay for me.
It will hurt a little bit around the areas with plenty of nerves but the pain is only for the instant of the laser hitting the skin and then a split second later it's gone. |
