Just out of curiosity.... would a laser pen work better than a LED pen/pointer?

Anyone have any educated opinion... before I spend a while looking it up.

Consensus appears to be no. Too small a beam.

Also really expensive.

Just found out that Seoul Semiconductors is the third largest LED maker in the world.
