Shop owners don't pay the proper taxes and no one does anything about it.
The Korean government is so inconsistent.
I had a friend who owned a clothing shop and she cleared about 10 million won per month. She told me at the end of the year she paid an accountant 2 million won and he did her taxes. That was it! 120 million cleared and 2 million in tax. That's standard practice in Korea, but now they're going after hogwans, worse yet, teachers.
This place is for the birds.
