what I REALLY want to see is the Japan approach adopted here - 90 days, no-questions-asked visa on arrival for tourists, and an inexpensive sojourn visa which YOU possess, allowing you to work, travel, teach privates, model, take classes, etc. as long as you are financially responsible and not a menace 2 society.

Sigh!!!

A group of us downloaded the immigration laws from the internet, and they are a bit outdated. The present immigration laws are the "6000" set. The ones on the internet are the "2000" set.

The "2000" set says that in order to work at a place other than your designated work place your extra job must not interfere with your designated place of employment. There aren't any other stipulations.
