Don't even compare that technology with the F1 Spinpoint. First, this isn't HD103UJ, it's raid edition. Second, this has about 333gb on each plate, meaning it uses only 3 plates than the standard 4-5 plates used by all other 1TB drives, know your technology!! This isn't for you if you know nothing about hard drives, just go with Western Digital if you fit that category.

Also, this enclosure isn't some cheap knock-off. It's top notch and very stylish and you can get eSata speeds.

Again if I didn't just buy one before you posted, I'd jump at this.

My enclosure cost me 60,000 and it is actually more expensive than the eSata version because it has a firewire hub built into it. Getting a deal on this type of enclosure (the one your selling) would have been great before I invested the money.

I prefer WD Green drives for my external enclosures as they are quieter and use less energy. They cost about what a raid drive does, so IMO they are pretty good if you want to help the environment a bit and want a quiet drive.

The WD book things they sell to the masses in COSTCO and Best Buy are pieces of crap. They put 2x500GB drives in their 1TB book and charge you way too much. Seriously, getting a good 1TB drive and a good quality enclosure such as the OP is selling is the way to go.

I prefer eSATA or firewire external drives/enclosures because of the speed benefit you get from them.

Good luck to whoever wins this auction. I love to see this type of stuff for sale.

Sigh, keep trying. I know it hurts your pride that I bashed you, sorry. Even if you did buy it for $217, without shipping, you'd still be paying over 300,000W for this all. And if you find this hard drive for that price at a legit, consumer rated website, let me know. Also it says, "bulk," which means when finalizing check out it'll probably give an error and tell you there is a mininum. If not, good luck taking your chance on that site.

Yes firewire is faster than USB 2.0, but eSata still beats it ^^. It's very stable though, good choices.

c/o 220,000W, closing 45 minutes.
PM me whoever wins so I can reply with a phone number. I can't initiate PMs.

Yeah, I did say I'll end at midnight.
240,000W bidder was late one minute, haha, at least by my time which I'm going by.

PM me, I'll stick with 230,000W. Or contact me below at aim, msn, or yahoo.
