My $300 check came in the mail yesterday at my USA address. Since I'm depositing it in the USA, I'm guessing the bank won't turn it down.

Does paying off loans = economic stimulus?

The IRS sent out a mailer about 2 weeks ago telling everybody how much they'd get and a contact email if they didnt' get it.

If you didn't list your spouse and children then don't expect extra cabbage.

This thread is nearly dead, but I got my stimulus check deposited to my State-side bank account electronically yesterday, also. I filed out a 1040 long form, a 2555EZ and sent them my Korean Earned Income form for 2007.

Somehow I ended up with a $40.00 tax return on top of the $300 stimulus check.

Before I filed taxes the IRS made it very clear over the telephone any income earned overseas is sill taxable (use of Embassy services, the airport you used to go overseas, etc.).

I think I'll buy a dune buggy. They're fun and eco-friendly. Laughing
