Hmmmm...what are the chances he would have included Halocaust deniers in one or both of those categories? |

I was saddened when I read of his death, but I'm sure of all people, he was the most shocked in that he lived to 71!
I loved the man, even though I didn't agree with everything he said.
For some reason, when I heard of his death, the first thing that popped into my head is what he said about Richard Pryor's suicide attempt;
"An update on the comedian health sweepstakes. I currently lead Richard Pryor in heart attacks 2 to 1. But Richard still leads me 1 to nothing in burning yourself up. See, it happened like this. First Richard had a heart attack. Then I had a heart attack. Then Richard burned himself up. And I said, ' *beep* that. I'm having another heart attack!"
What really does suck is that the Holy Trinity of Comedy is now all gone. Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor and now George Carlin. Sadly, all three of them and their opinions/thoughts and voices are needed now more than ever (just my opinion).
There maybe other great comedians out there, but none will be nearly as influential, groundbreaking or important as those three.
R.I.P George! |

Grammy-winning American stand-up comedian, actor, and author George Carlin spoke of his doubts about the official 9/11 story during a recent appearance at Borders bookstore in New York City, just a few blocks away from ground zero.
Asked what he thought of the 9/11 truth movement and how Bill Maher's show was interrupted by truthers last week, Carlin responded,
"I always question the received reality."
"The consensus reality is often intentionally misleading," he added.

So much for Carlin thinking that 9/11 doubters are included in the 'stupid.'

I imagine 'ol George is figuring out how much bullshit religion is not right about now.
Sorry, never liked the man. Too full of himself. When people call him "genius" I just want to puke.
Anyway, I hope it was painless for him. Everyone deserves a peaceful death. |

Carlin had a very bad habit, he was addicted to Diet Coke with aspartame. He suffered several heart attacks, one at Dodger Stadium during a baseball game. He died of heart failure on Sunday, June 22nd.
