I haven't checked this thread in awhile but I want to thank everyone who responded - particularly those with specific experience with the school. I ended up not taking the contract (and getting spooked in general, but that's another story). They couldn't seem to manage a simple phone interview - kept not calling when they said they would, so I gave it a miss. I had wondered if I had missed something really good....and now I know I didn't!!
