3000 won and 3 minutes time to replace a case fan. 5 minutes to replace a PS fan.

True, but I was asking age, not cost

and I was suggesting (in a round-a-bout way) that the question is largely irrelevant.

That makes absolutely no sense, but whatever floats your boat I guess.

How old are the fan and power supply unit?

Try reading the OP. Wink

The OP only mentions the power supply as 2 months. Try reading it and my question.

I was completely aware of that. If you had read the OP you wouldn't have asked about the PSU. Hence the comment.

Ok, I will spell it out for you. As you can see, the fan issue is not specific, the owner of the computer and myself agree there are multiple fans. Wouldn't it be nice to know how old each of the fans are?

When you buy a power supply unit, a fan is also in one of those as well.

To clarify things, fan information and power supply unit information should be listed together. This is why I asked using both.

cubanlord,

Hi Jada,

The fans are as old as the case, so, about 3 years old. But, remember that fans are only like 3-5,000 won and take minimal effort to replace (they are all working silently right now, so no ned to replace).

Me.

Here is a page with pictures and varying costs of fans ranging from $6.00 (American dollars) to $55.00 http://www.amtrade.com/computer_fan/cooling_fans_lg_pix.htm

I think it's a reasonable question to get a total on the following fans as well as how old each one is.

A) The small fan attached to the back of the computer
B) The fan that snaps in over the cpu
C) The power supply unit

Since cubanlord already mentioned he did work on the computer, built another computer (the term used was "monster"), and has other computers (which could be used for testing parts, new and used), this is not that crazy of a question as some may think.

Now, if this was just an issue of replacing the one back fan for a few thousand won, I could understand some of the comments against listing the information I have requested.
