You are mistaken. I don't associate libertarianism with racism at all.

I associate libertarianism with weak central government, so weak that the individual is left naked and defenseless against the corporate interests. I too believe in federalism, just not in a federal structure where the states have enough power to challenge the central government. We went down that road in 1861. I see government as a tool to be used for the betterment of people. My hatred of libertarianism is rooted in the threat to take that tool out of my hands.
