Incheon - Phuket return August 2008 (Unique Travel)
970,000 Won.
Nightmare trying to book it - guess what... the plane had loads of seats empty as per fkn usual. |
Dang man, I don't know how I got a price that low, but 970,000 was the quote they gave me to Bali. I was really trying to go to Bali, but did not want to pay that much so I opted for the cheaper Thailand trip. I hope a Bali flight is around 550,000 this Winter instead of 970,000, because that's a lot of money. I already seen that flights to the states will cost 2,000,000 to 2,500,000 which is pricey, but flights within the Americas are cheap right now. You can go to Florida, Mexico, and many other places for as little as $150 rt with $200 to $300 being quite common. I'm talking 1000 to 4000 miles per flight. Of course demand is down right now and American gas and employee wages are still cheap as compared to the rest of the developed world. |

Of course it was a "nightmare". They were playing games with your head to make you believe little ol' you didn't have a chance in hell of getting a flight. Little ol' you would then be more willing to accept a higher fare. Little guys like us need start to being pit bulls when they start playing their head games.

MNL-Caticlan 1 way ~$100 - (SEA, bought the ticket at some agent about an hour before the flight)

Interesting thread, let's revive it.
Return to Raleigh/Durham, NC two weeks late july, ~1,900,000 Won. I was very happy with this price. I used soho travel.
Hopefully my family'll be picking up checks while I'm home so I don't expect too many extra expenses. |
