Sanlu knew about this problem for MONTHS, yet their first reaction was to lie, lie and then lie some more. They initially blamed it on counterfeit products that bore their name, but now I see that they have caught the people responsible.

I wonder how much of this sweep-it-under-rug mentality of the government and company was due to not embarrassing China in the middle of the Olympics. |
