Foreget about using KB's Internet Banking to transfer funds to your bank back home unless you bank with HSBC or Citibank.

Those two banks are the only to foreign bank options allowed for transferring funds. Mad

Is there a solution to the problem of a mac accessing KEB's sit yet?

I have a Macbook and I downloaded internet explorer. KEB won't let me into their site. The screen says "PLease hold on for a moment" and nothing happens. There is a link to a direct download, which leads to an .exe file, which can't be opened with macs.

Which plugin do I need to download? What do I need to download to make this work?

If it comes down to it, I will bastardize my mac with bootcamp. But only as a last resort. Any info on this would be appreciated as well.

That's the software for secure transactions. You can't use KEB internet banking w/out it. If your mac won't accept it than not much u can do about it. I've heard that if you get xp on it would work. Might have to consider a dual boot option w/ xp. BTW, KEB allows you to transfer money to banks abroad via internet as long as you register the foreign acct for remittance.

Yeah, I dual boot my computer with windows for the soul purpose of internet banking. Once I get out of Korea I'll probably delete it back off my computer.

What version OS do you have for mac? The latest is really easy to dual boot from, as it does everything for you.

And you could considered virtually running windows on your Mac, although I have not tried that before. I prefer dual booting because you are less likely to slow your system down.

How do you register for remittance? Is this something I would have to go to my original bank to do? Or is it a button online?

Gotta do it at a KEB bank. I did mine at the KEB I use now (Yong - in) which isn't where I originally opened an acct at (Gangnam). Just bring the acct number for the overseas bank and you'll have to fill out a short form and sign.

KB'sa banking site installed 14 programs onto my computer. Most of them malware. There's a KB almost everywhere. I just go in person now.
