I think you guys put him, like Cheney, in the 'scary' pile, whereas I think not so scary.
Someone told D Cheney 'F U Dick Cheney.' The guy was questioned, but nothing much really came of it. Basically Cheney just brushed it off with a laugh. Someone told Bush to his face that he 'should be ashamed,' Bush's reply was simply that 'one can't please everyone,' and there is truth in that. He didn't jump down from the podium and smack they guy out, nor track him down and get him sent away and tortured or worse...
I think it would be far more scary telling certain other country PMs and Pressies to 'F off' like some of those East European leaders.
In many ways I think, apart from election worries and financial problems American people shouldn't really be personally afraid of what occured. I would be far more scared to be an innocent Iraqi due to the collateral damage while being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
But, as I find out, there are no Iraqis on this board - so no one gives much concern about them ...
As for Americans here. You worry too much. What Bush did was wrong, but you aren't dead or maimed because of it. Well, 3000 and a bit more soldiers are, but then as pointed out that is much less than the military personel accidental casualty rate. And, to be honest, that is a soldier's job, and something signed up for, to go into war at times ... that's why the benefits are so good. But, some people just signed up for the benefits I guess, not realising, taking notice of or learning that every American generation has its war.

So what do you think George Bush and Barack Obama were talking about when Bush gave him the tour of the White House?
