god, i hate this place and i'm korean. i hate koreans too and it's been only a week. koreans remind me of americans, just not so brazenly open about it. so now i dislike koreans and americans. i always got along with japanese, even in america and they were the nicest people to work for. Chinese were a pain but not as bad as koreans or americans.

You've been immensely unlucky. Koreans and Americans are, in my opinion and by a huge distance, the nicest nationalities on the planet. Mind you, I've never worked in a hagwon nor a fastfood joint.

9 weeks to go! OMG that's single digits!!! (Note: It's technically 9 weeks and 3 days left until winter break but I have 2 school picnics soon so it's 9 weeks for me).

I've packed 2 moving boxes full of shit (approx 30 kg) and sending that sucker off on Wednesday! 9-weeks ... yay ... that means 6 weeks really since December doesn't really count ... yay .... !

head-in-the-clouds, I'd comment but this thread's supposed to contain happy thoughts Very Happy

As for the countdown ... 8 weeks 2 days until winter break! If December doesn't count as a month of real instruction, there's only 4 weeks left! I seriously can't wait to GTFO! Almost there ... almost there ....

I finally get to do one of these after 6 years.

6.5 weeks of teaching.

14 weeks in the country.

It makes me joy seeing that I don't have to turn any pages in my planner to countdown. Other good news: I was informed that my last day is actually a day earlier than what I'd written down. Winter break starts on Saturday, Dec 27th. With no school on the 25th, that means only 7 weeks, 2 days left after today! And roughly 4 weeks until December classes (which better be chill).

Today I will attempt to eat lunch out of school. I realize that my distaste in anything Korean is (now) mainly attributed to my lack for free-time. Just thinking about chilling by my self for once, in peace, makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

I have until March 5th. That's when my visa expires... I think. Therefore it's 4 months that's 16 weeks or 120ish days left.

34 days until Winter break! I get Monday off, so that makes 33 days for me. The eating out during lunch was a total failure due to the fact that we had good meat dish that day. I did manage to escape to a nearby coffee shop (the only one in town) after lunch but it was closed.

2 more weeks until finals ... November is coming along pretty quickly. I only hope December is the same.

Sounds like a lengthy well-researched opinion.

9 days, 5 hours left at work, then flying to cambodia for a month! i'm on cruise control... i'm super stressed about getting fkd over by my boss though... so instead of being happy it's almost over, i'm a nervous wreck... this should be a happy time, shouldn't it?

1-week and 2 days until December. 3-weeks before my last set of finals. Just 5 weeks until winter break!

Approx a week, or less of real instruction left. THIS IS HOME STRETCH!
