jesus, h...i stopped taking you seriously here.

I went to Monkey when I visited Daegu. Definitely not my idea of a good time. Incredibly crowded, horrible music, lots of stupid-drunk guys who wouldn't stop with the "subtle" "accidental" groping of me and my friend.

signed up for my second year in daegu... i'm not a bar/club going type of person, but when i do go out, it's thunderbirds, commune, krew bar, club that, frog, and a few kbars/clubs thrown in for good luck...

whoever said that daegu isn't xenophobic/racist is living in a bubble... when i travel to seoul/busan, i can literally feel the blanket of hate lifted... i do have a lot of positivity thrown my way here, but i've never experienced the negative vibes that i also quite often get here in busan or seoul...

the girls are beautiful, but very, very elusive... they'd like to date you on the side, but don't want to be seen out with you...

the bus system is easy to figure out... if you visit the city of daegu website, they tell you which bus to take to all the attractions they have listed...

there are good times to be had, but i guarantee that you will find yourself visiting seoul and busan quite a lot...

I don't think Monkeys bad! My friends ditched way too early... They say I'm biased because I got glances, but hey I think it had ok music, ok facilites, ok...people... lol

Yeah there is a lot of groping there though, In fact I guy i had just met, went straight up to this girl, grabbed her ass asstight like squeezing orange juice, and tried to spark a conversation from there...

Umm ... Confused yeah I can see why you don't like it.

PS. lol moonshield let me know if you got sometime for beers. I got a friend who has a missues so I understand its hard to get out... but if you're ever down for some "hof" let me know.

Again, thanks for all the advice and recommendations. That's good news that the bus system is simple to understand. It sounds like the outskirts of Daegu is a great place to do some weekend hiking, if it is as beautiful as you describe it EzeWong.

Oh, to answer your questions EzeWong, I lived in Cheonan. I liked it there, kind of small, but, it was easy to get to know other people and so I made some good friends, both Koreans and native English speakers. In fact, I still talk with them to this day and we are looking forward to meeting up again in March. I'm not sure if you were asking me or someone else about liking Korean girls, but, if you were asking me, I do like Korean girls! Actually, I dated a couple of Korean girls and would do so again. So which city are you located in EzeWong?

Moonshield, remind me, what are 'ajosshis'? Are they the old men or old women?

Does anyone want to talk via msn messenger?

I'll try to take some pics.

Well I'll have to be honest, my frame of reference for what is beautiful might be too high because I used to live in Boston. So pretty much anything is amazing to me.

I'll try to upload some pics of downtown too so you get a chance to see.

Ok,

Warning: These photos are incredibly terrible are actually outside of the downtown area. That's because everytime I take photos downtown something gets in my goddamn way or the photo doesnt come out.

Anyways:

1) Right outside of downtown, It's a nice photo though:

Hey EzeWong,

Thanks for the pictures. They turned out fine. The pictures bring back memories for me! I remember shopping in subway shopping malls when I visited Seoul. I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures of the moutains.
