Straight from the horses mouth:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security_and_Prosperity_Partnership_of_North_America

http://www.judicialwatch.org/SPP.shtml

The wiki link is troubling how?

Remember that the European Union started in exactly the same way. People said "What's the problem? It's only an economic partnership". I highly doubt that it will come by 2010 but come it will.

You think the EU is doing badly?

The entire EU has benefited from it, even those who had to pay more then they received thru cheaper labor ....

Haha! Ask the people of Europe if they like the EU. There is a reason nation states are not granted referendums on membership and treaties.

So how are the people of Europe worse off under the EU?

If you love centralised dictatorship and nation states with little or no sovereignty then yes, the EU is wonderful.

I can't actually ask everyone in Europe their opinion. You have any other lame arguments? You lost the HIV debate, you lost the vaccine debate, you know you'll need to back out of this one too, huh?

Whatever. I have lived in Europe, have you? I know the people there overwhelmingly hate the EU and what it has done to their countries. The powers that be love it because it creates more centralization of power and less accountability. That is the future that those living in North America face.

North American Union....this is suppose to be the response to the 'European Union'? Replacing all of our currencies by 2010? This is designed to stop dissent?

There are too many things wrong with this. It'll never happen.

Where do people get this stuff? I see it circulated around paranoid groups...but never able to identify the exact source. Usually it comes from freaked out Americans...intersting that Canada has their own segment of freaked out individuals probably reading the same sources.

where does this come from ? its on the news, and its anything but a joke. Will it happen ? I dont know , but I will be protesting it every chance I get

Have you considered unhappy people tend to associate with you? Fallacy: Confirmation bias.

And when are Europeans ever happy about anything?

Sorry if I don't take your informal opinion survey as evidence of anything.
