But you're right, my friend's studio apartment in Gangnam was the exact same amount, so I bet my 2 bedroom, window-y apartment, if it were in Gangnam, would fetch twice as much.
For those who are actually interested and are looking for something of quality (say, equal to something you could get at home), I spent months looking at over 50(!!!) apartments in the area before I found this one. If I could stay, I absolutely would. |

Well, you bring up an interesting point. Why is this place being marketed to for foreigners?

| Any Korean landlord looking for that much 월세 is probably about to default on a shitload of debt. |

Surely you guys must be kidding, have you never heard of any higher end apartments in Seoul? And you don't know anyone at all who has a family and pays more to live well and have a spare bedroom?
If so, I honestly, truly would like to see these apartments that are the same size and have the same features (super bright light, and a large balcony) for the same price or better - in ANY neighborhood. Check www.edenrealty.com for starters.
And, um, it's being marketed to foreigners..... BECAUSE I AM A FOREIGNER. I wish someone would have posted an apartment like this back when I was looking - would have saved me a hell of a lot of trouble. |

Wow, that's a ridiculously rude post. Go waste someone else's time.
I've never heard of Sinchon/Hongdae referred to as a crap neighborhood before, and I most certainly don't think anyone in their right mind would find a neighborhood with mostly single family homes to be crappy. |

pkang, I can't seem to see anything when I open those links - could you check them? It ould be my computer, I'll try looking at work as well.
Like I said, I've looked at tons of apartments (2br) in my area for much cheaper and they were MUCH crappier, plus no outdoor space. I never said cheaper 2 br apartments don't exist in my neighborhood, but the ones I looked at were dark, small, or nasty. |

(I think) the monthly rent needs another 0... "관리비 포함 3000/100" x10,000 so 30mil/1mil (includes building maintenance fee, so that's a bonus)
(IMHO) I'd take up the OP's offer if I had finances. It looks like a decent spacious "three-room" for 1000/100. There aren't very many nice one-room places that'll do a 5mil key anyway. Most ask for 10mil.
BTW: some of the cafe.naver pages can't be seen without a userID |

I'm interested with the new terms, i'll send you an email.
I can't see the NAVER links either, needs a login. I'd be interested in seeing them if you could repost pkang. |
