I think Alicia Masters is that blind chick who has a thing for the Thing.
This article sounds like a total joke. Didn't Nolan say they wouldn't be introducing Robin while he's still attached to it? I have serious doubts about the truth of this. Plus, it's The Sun. |

I don't think this will happen.
For example, Nolan and Bail both talked about how they didn't want the Robin character in any of the films.
Secondly, I would like to think they would have better taste than this... seriously. From a film making stand point, it would be silly to have all of these different storylines in the same movie... it'd be like spiderman three but with an even crappier cast. Plus, the timeline doesn't really make sense. I don't think they can crank out another one of these films by 2010. I think it's just speculation that will never happen.
Just for the record, the Riddler is definitely one of the worst characters ever and Robin sucks balls. Actually, the reason they had to change Batman into the 1960s camp version was because there was such social outcry in the 1950s about Batman and Robin's homosexual undertones. Batman was also machine gunning people to death as well. It was most the gay thing... well more like the man boy love. True story. |

I really feel that Shia L (whatever the spelling) would be a horrible casting. I also hope they leave Robin out of it. I can just imagine the soppy storyline.
I want them to cast Haley Joel Osment...
Just Kidding. |

| If they do go the Robin route, they'll probably make her a scrawny teen-age chick, like Frank Miller did in 'the Dark Knight Returns.' Which will bring up other uncomfortable questions, no doubt, but at least it'll dodge the NAMBLA bullet. |

all movies based on superheroes are bad.
superman w/ christopher reeves all the way to today.
the only reason they make them is because they know hardcore suckers will pay out.
weren't val kilmer and michael keaton great as batman? a lamer franchise than 007. |

| If this is true, it will be the downfall of the Dark Knight series. The moment they start making an "All Star" cast, is the moment you lose all the mystery and realness to the movie. You'll be looking at the Riddler thinking "there's Eddie Murphy playing the Riddler." Sure Ledger was popular, but I think the face paint, his get up, and his incredible acting took away from viewers' idea of him being who he really was. |

That's bang on, and it's also the Problem With Hollywood in general, and not just with super-hero flicks. Anytime you see Morgan Freeman, or Al Pacino, or Robert DeNiro, can you ever for even like two seconds forget that they're famous actors? Like in that stupid 'Righteous Kill' piece of crap...who could ever think that DeNiro and Pacino were actually old tough New York cops? It was painfully obvious that they're just bloated hacks surfing the wake of their earlier performances. They might as well have called each other Bob and Al and winked knowingly at the camera, or done little 'quote' signs with their fingers whenever they called each other by their characters' names...nobody's disbelief could possibly suspend the weight of such massive tubs of celebrity lard.
In my admittedly ridiculous and unworkable opinion, I feel that actors should be put out to pasture or shot after they do a couple of flicks, and then they can get real jobs or go to the glue factory or what have you. |

Yeah, Nolen has said these movies are going to be about a young Batman, he becomes Robins mentor when he's middle aged so in the Nolen universe Robin is just a kid now and won't be seen for a few movies.
I assume Depp would replace Heath Ledger as the Joker? That'll be pretty cool. Best casting rumour I heard (although probably bs) was Micheal Emerson (creepy Ben from Lost) as the Riddler....he would be fantastic at giving the Riddler a darker edge to suit the Nolen films. |

| I was surprised at how good the first two movies were. As much as I like Eddie Murphy, I can't see him as the riddler. The only thing I couldn't stand in the movie was Ledger as the joker. That and the whole "the Batman" line were the only downside to the series thus far. |

You must be the only person alive who didnt like Ledger's Joker. What was your problem with it? |
