Phone charms are a good choice if they're old enough to have cell phones. My younger female cousins really enjoyed them. Decorated hand fans and big fuzzy pens are always a hit, too.

Go to lotte mart and get those box sets of the korean style crayons. I bring those back for my nephews and they love them. I noticed that they are starting to sell that twist up style in canada now, but the korean sets are cheaper, come in a cool case, and have korean writing on them.
I usually hit the local stationary store oe chun won store and get pencils, pens, erasers and junk.
