Yeah, very SELECTIVE quotes taken from interviews in which we don't catch the full topic, timing or motive.
The claim was made that "the left" lacks class and "Coulter" always takes the highroad. Those quotes were selective quotes because they prove that hypothesis wrong.
Do you REALLY think that context is going to make:
Quote:
"I think [women] should be armed but should not [be allowed to] vote."
sound like Keates?
Don't bother trying to defend her, it isn't worth the futility.

And what about the class with which rush went after chelsea clinton (a 13year old at the time):
"Everyone knows the Clintons have a cat. Socks is the White House cat. But did you know there is a White House dog?" Limbaugh said on TV, before holding up a picture of Chelsea.

ps...man chelsea looks fairly smokey hottie now non?

ANYWAY....I think we are discussing Rush vs Obama.
In regards to Coulter, yeah....she is surely a ball buster. But, she does have some good points about the "victom" role the the left plays in America.

Speaking of Rush attacking Chelsea, which was rather tacky................I don't see you or anyone else condeming the left media attacking Palin and her family.

Whats up with that?

Coulter is to American Consevatism as Pol Pot is to Marxism. One hell of a terrible example.

Uh, no, try again. It only shows she's the exception to the rule. When conservatives lack class in public they're called on the carpet for it.

Case in point: Coulter recently appeared on Mike Huckabee's new show on FoxNews and he politely pointed out to her that he is not an idiot as she claims and gave her several chances to retract it. But she only became more obnoxious and the conservative audience booed her, something Huckabee rarely condones.

But then you already knew that as a regular viewer of FoxNews, right? Rolling Eyes

Anyway, there ARE classy liberals. They're just fewer and farther between in my experience.

Well first, her daughter had sex outside of wedlock. Where were the conservatives NOT attacking that?
The liberals made jokes about it; not necessarily appropriate but jokes.
Had that been a democrat child, I can gurantee we would never hear the end of it.

I think the only really outta line thing that shouldn't have been more than a fart in a windstorm was questioning the paternity of Trig. That was lam-o.
Otherwise, I didn't hear much about any of the other children. I'm sure it existed, but I think you'd agree I read quite a few liberal news sources and I never saw any.

TONS of people criticised the media for attacking Palin although, IMO, they were very easy on her. No one was easier on her than Biden--the debate was like watching Andre Agassi play against an infant. I lol'd.
