A couple of years ago,I was reading a men's magazine and they had an article about the last meals of notorious serial killers before they got the chair.

One serial killer, whose name escapes me at the moment, requesteed a plate of boiled vegetables and a glass of water. That seems boring and a sure sign of mental illness in my opinion.Another guy wanted a bowl of vegetable soup and water.

Ted Bundy's last meal was steak, eggs, home fries and one glass of orange juice and a cup of coffee. For some reason, that seems very Ted Bundyish.

I could go with that, especially the roast potatoes. I would also add bangers 'n' mash and shepherds pie - with HP sauce.

I don't know about a death row situation.
But a pamphlet I was forced to read at Dad's hospice said dying people lose the desire, even the will to eat early on. Like days, even weeks before passing.
I never understood if that was because of the actual being ill (ie. cancer) or the knowledge that death was near.

SO.. On that happy note, I'll have a bowl of fresh strawberries, with powdered sugar on top.
