You're telling me! My daughter -- who turned five months old last week -- is now sixty-five by Korean reckoning.

Egad!

I don't think they do it on purpose for the most part. Things like, when a train arrives, and traffic can't be controlled.

I don't like to be too early. One time I was 1/2 hour early at Apgujeong, and I got harrassed by beggars (in the richest part of town) for that 1/2 hour.

Today I was late for both of my Korean classes due to waiting for subway trains and crowded streets. At Dongdaemun stadium, 3 trains arrived going south in the same time when 1 train going north arrived. I was going north, of course.

Then again at Gireum, I waited a good 10 minutes for a train.

but it works both ways, if traffic is bad it's bad...it all comes down to--->Why am I always on time and they're always late? And besides, they should know the traffic and subway times better than me. I was overjoyed when a friggin recruiter was only 10 minutes late yesterday as I sat outside exit 3 while it was snowing. Total disrespect. F' em.

I've been pretty lucky because I'm ALWAYS late... and best yet.. NO ONE notices!! heh heh..

Actually, I'm very punctial, I just don't like to be too early. But trying to be punctial in Seoul is pretty hard. Too many inconsistencies, and it just doesn't work out everytime. The farther I am away from the places I'm suppose to go, the more likely I'll be late.

I hold the puctuality crown, and no one's taking it from my lively-but-cold-stiffened fingers.

If I'm to be somewhere at a specific time, I'm there. NO EXCUSES!!!
