Doesn't really matter on guitar where changing keys is a matter of moving up or down a fret or two, but judging from their influences they won't be doing any of that anyway.

That is really strange. I'm a guitar player in a world inundated with them. You could always do Lightning Bolt:

He performs the singing (mostly squealing) duties as well, through a contact mic sewn into his ski mask.

Doesn't really matter if they are 32d notes or 164th notes for that matter. The notes do not set the speed. The tempo sets the speed.

It's tough, for sure. I've been trying to get something going for over a year now.

There are so many complicating factors: people come and go, schedules are hard to align, not everyone has gear in Korea, Korean musicians are hard to seek out if you're not well connected or good at the language, and even if you can overcome all these obstacles, the small fraction of remaining people might not be into the same music, or might be dicks.

i totally agree ^, the nature of teaching in korea is that people are coming and going all the time and scheduling can be tough. if gear is a problem, remember that all you really need is a guitar and a distortion pedal. amps are provided at 99% of clubs and rehearsal spaces, including ours.

You never answered my question. Can you guys play worth a F&^# are you a bunch of newbs with 'tudes? I play every night at least an hour or more. For well over 25 years now. As I said in my p.m. call the number and I'll audition for you right after you audition for me. Fair enough? Light em' up!

i asked in the OP and in 2 subsequent PMs for you to email me an mp3. i'm not sure how auditioning over the phone is possible. do i call you from band practice? hold the phone up to my computer speakers? sing a capella? i don't mind playing the prisoner's dilemma game but i'll need your email if you want me to send you an mp3.

What gets me is the F.tards that want people to "audition" over the phone. The hell is that!? Send an MP3. You gotta computer and mic? Get a damn cord converter and make one! How hard is that. I'd like a person do show me what they got before they start jumping to conclusions about what's "rock" and what's not.
