accessing them at once... well kinda
i am a file share freak.. i won't be happy til i have every friends, simpsons and imax episode ever made.. you probably know that offering more usually means receiving more (i share 210gb ), especially on winmx.. so i like to keep everything shared.. if that is the case, get the raid card and abort the array setup? |

You want any card that will support Spanning or JBOD - Just a Bunch Of Drives (that's really the term, I'm not making it up!) |

what is better/faster/cheaper? |
Replacing one of your smaller drives with a 250GB drive. They can be had for around 220,000 to 250,000 depending on the brand.
Every problem is solved at once without introducing a greater risk of failure. |

Risk is still the same, but they can be catastrophic with that much data on a single drive. 250G is a LOT. :)
Eventually, things will get to the point where such drives are the norm, but at the current price/space ratio, I don't have as much faith in them as I do with the smaller drives. Think of it as, the more platters, the more places they can fail. This is just me tho.
Friend had two 80G drives in Raid0 and was pretty upset when one of them failed. :)

Gord, that's easy:
Open the control panel in your start menu.
Click on the Date,Time, Language, and Regional Option category.
Click on the Add other Languages task
Go to the Languages tab and check the box Install files for East Asian Languages.
Be warned, it's a big file but will allow you to read, and write all East Asian Languages. |
And then you have to set the non-unicode programs language to Korean. |
