"Pirated' describes the vast majority of software bought in Korea, unless you're prepared to pay extra for the imported packaged stuff.

My laptop runs on a pirated Windows system, bought in Korea. I get urged to update to "genuine windows" everytime I log on. But it seems to work without any probs and is compatible with all the various software.
