haha, this.

I was expecting a BSG thread. I little disappointed now.

Anyways, I agree with one of the above posters about reverse culture shock. I'm sure your speech patterns changed a bit while you were away from Canada. Either you possibly speak a little slower than you previous would, or you adopted some foreign mannerisms. Give it a few months and you'll be fitting in a bit better.

I've noticed that I also speak in Konglish and use a lot of hand gestures in addition to speaking slowly. Make sure you're not making a big x with your arms, and saying something like "ketchup, NOOOO" if you order a burger and want them to hold the ketchup.

Also, I really hate the term "frak". It was totally stolen from Farscape which used the term "frell".
