That's right.
Good one BBT for cancelling due to illness. Your music sucks anyway. Pull your head in. |

| He's getting publicity anyway. I had no clue he was even remotely musically inclined until I read this thread. |

I think Billy Bob was justifiably upset and I think his reaction to the interview can be better understood when taking into consideration: 1) It was 6:ooam. 2) He wanted the interview to be based on his merits as a muscian, not on his merits as an Academy Award winning actor who is persuing his hobby. 3) The interviewer and producer violated his trust by mentioning his movie career.
For some musicians, music is something intensely personal and I think Billy Bob was reacting to the interviewer's violation of trust and implicit suggestion that music to Billy Bob was just a hobby.

I implore you watch the interview if you haven't.
The interviewer only mentioned Billy Bob's movie career experience in the introduction.
Get this, no direct questions were asked to him about being a movie star and all.
It was simply part of the intro and any respectable interviewer would do the same in an interview like this. If not some or even many of the people listenning would be trying to figure out if the Billy Bob being interviewed was some random musiician with a name similar to a movie star or the real thing,
Again, how in the hell did they 'violate his trust"? I mean come on man!
How can you actually support his unprofessional behavior?
Again the interviewer only mentioned Billy Bob's acting experiennce in the intro. The rest of the interview was solely limited to music related questions.
In addition the interviewer isn't some shock-jock DJ. He's actually a very professionall guy.
Thorton deserved the booos. |
