He posted on craigslist for a lower price but still more than it costs new and deleted the post here. It was the 2.8-4. He was trying to sell it for more than it costs new!

i think the best way is for him to post the original photo of his lens so that the buyer may know what he/she is buying.
If what he is selling at 300,000 before is the EX DG F2.8, im really interested on it, but if its the DG 2.8-4, i will just stick with my 17-70mm F2.8-4 (which im selling)
In that craiglist post, the attached photo is the EX DG F2.8, not the DG F2.8-4
