Sorry Cali guy, don't mean to be an ass****, but are you retard? Nobody recognizes Korean degrees. They are absolutely garbage! The only field that Korea is competitive in is Korean and they're losing ground to the Uzbeks quickly.

It's a simple question. And, yet, you were unable to answer it simply without being a jerk.

I originally thought that if you didnt pass the exam you couldnt work in the school but that isnt the case.

Schools are made up of many individuals in respect to the test: many teachers haven't actually passed, some have with high scores and some have with not so high scores. Some fields where precious few people are around ie where supply is low (eg special needs) they have less strict criteria for entry then for other areas. I am not sure where English stands but I think we can all make an educated guess on that one.

Also due respect has to be paid to the ages of the teachers: I am not sure if the grandmas had it as hard as today's aspiring teachers.

you're korean, stop pretending otherwise. your poor English skills betray you.

Pray tell, where did he ever proclaim that he wasn't Korean? Sounds like you want every gyopo to begin with a disclaimer.

Second, who the f@$k cares but racist a-holes like you? Does his ethnicity automatically invalidate/discount everything he wrote?

In blasphemener's defence, he highlighted the portion of shl82's post which almost certainly implies he/she is claiming to be a westerner (or is he/she?). Plus, the writing is suspect! No capitals to begin any sentence and quite a few conjunctions missing! It looks like what was typed, is how a good majority of Koreans speak English.

In the Koreans defence, It can't be that easy to learn the English language! Look at their language. How it is written etc. Going from Spanish, French, Italian etc to English is one thing. I believe it is qiute a bit different going from an Asian language to English!

The English language can be a pain in the ass. There are rules and then many exceptions to those rules. It's no wonder people who learn our language pull their hair out at times! I'm a little pissed off trying to re-learn all the rules I have either forgotten or never really knew in the first place. I just have a good idea of what makes sense and what doesn't. Most, if not all of us native English speakers are working off of memory at this point.

madoka - His/her ethnicity does not really make a difference. But he/she might be a little biased if he/she is truely Korean!
