Not worried in the least; not even pissed or surprised given the trend. Just pointing out the double talk. But thanks for keeping me abreast of our national woes. By your measure, most of the thread topics on this forum wouldn't pass muster. And it's not as if I confine myself to such fare. But, hey, you have the YTB stamp of approval. |

Yes ! Joking about Limbaugh will cause the fall of the Republic. Obama laughing at the joke means that our children will be sold to Turkish slave merchants who will then sell them as sex slaves to Osama Bin Ladin.
Drivel like this in a time in national crisis is why the Republican party is dying out. Worrying about the effect that a joke about a oxycontin addicted, Dominican boyloving , racist, who makes his living as a bufoon on the radio shows the quality of the Republican rightwing. this is more important to them than the fact that the u.s. is in an economic tailspin. This is their message" Limbaugh sacred, if you are losing your home dont worry we will make sure that you can listen to Rush". Its a winner cant wait until 2010!!! |

Who remembers the Saturday Night Live skit were Newt and I think it was Daschle were at a bar going "what the hell happened?" In walks Clinton with a girl on each arm. They thought they were too clever by half and paid the price.
Rome is burning and republicans are trying to focus attention on a comedy act. They are playing games. They are trying to make themselves look better by criticizing the dems over every little thing instead of rolling up their sleeves and going to work to fix the problems.
How about we rebrand the republicans the Sons of Nero Party? |

Hmm, this is at least the second time I've heard someone on a message board make this kind of insinuation about Rush Limbaugh. I have no interest in defending the guy, but for the sake of my own curiousity, could someone fill me in a bit more on the details of these allegations? |

Once again a staffer in the Obama Administration goes lowball. This time it's David Axelrod, his "Rove."
Axelrod joked about Miss California in connection with the new White House job while claiming his having the ear of the current President isn't in the same category as Rove and Bush. Yeah, right. And nice touch of class, there, David. You only wish a woman like her bothered to look your way.
UPDATE:
Once again Obama mentions the cynical and hysteric media, obviously alluding to FoxNews, while giving his commencement address at Notre Dame yesterday. Yeah, as if there's no hysteria working in his favor. This guy really is bugged by harsh criticism. It's what comes from being the first Affirmative Action President. |

| Well at Least Joe Biden hasn't told a G.O.P. senator to get f****. as Cheney did. No Obama supporter has plotted armed insurrection on t.v. as Gen Beck did. This sort of inane nitpicking lowers the public discourse and is damaginging to real debate on issues. But then if you have no ideas then you can not debate on the issues and you are stuck with childish namecalling. |
